Anyone do a small lathe job for me?

Is there anyone on this forum who can make a simple brass collar for me?

Dimensions are approx. OD 30 mm, ID 22.5 mm, width of collar 6mm. 1 mm chamfer on OD, both sides/

Exact dimensions (need to double check the inside diameter) will be posted if anyone comes back to me able to make this.

Of course I would pay for this to be made.

Used to be a turner myself for many years, feel lost without a lathe!

I can 3D print one for you in gold - but it'll be plastic.

If that's any good to you

Good suggestion - but this part needs a little more strength.

    Thanks for the offer.

Does it have to be brass? I can do it in Aluminium if it is of any use to you.

I can order a short length of 32 mm brass bar and have it delivered to.you. Will send you a PM later with exact dimensions and if its something you can do on your lathe then I will take you up on your offer.

Can arrange beer coupons as restitution as well!

    Cheers

    Hi A.G,

Your good work arrived today, BRILLIANT!

Thanks very much, I can now complete my wee mod with a professional finish!

    Regards,
    Steve
