No. But Zeropoint on here was making calbre specific baffles for them that made it even quieter.
Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right.

I think that you are clear for .22. I am not so sure about .25.

Yes that would make them very quiet indeed.

It's interesting that they seem to be gun specific.

I've noticed at least two different lengths of HW factory supplied 1/2" female UNF mods.

    One from a HW100, the other from a HW95K.

However, I got a bit mixed up over which was which.

If you are referring to the 1/2 UNF female thread item, no problems on a .22 Airgun.

The stock item makes a normally loud (CO2) rifle sound like a mouses f@rt, but guess they can be further improved for specific guns.

Are you sure the long one was not the slip on version ??

As I have a Weihrauch tube in front of me; it states it is for .177-.20-.22 and I know they do make a .25 specific mod,
however I used my bog standard HW on my .25 FAC without issue & it was superbly effective.

IIRC the washers are drilled 7.4mm.

Yes Steve. Both were fairly recent, and both 1/2" UNF female.

I think the one that was nearly an inch shorter, was supplied with the HW95K springer. But I'm not exactly sure.

Nah, and I only have one of the two now. I think it's the shorter one. I'll measure it, soon as I can get to my gun cupboard.

A quick search brought up this post that perhaps supports my claim:

Could we all measure our HW silencers please?

I have two. One that came with a HW95k when Weihrauch first started to fit screw-on silencers to the 95, and a second one that was on a .177 100kt I bought a few years later. The cylindrical part of both is around 178 mm long.

I currently have the first one (off the HW95) on a .22 Rapid and it seems quite noisy in comparison with the HW100. I wonder if that is a .22 thing. or if there are some differences in the internal "filling" between the two silencers?

I reflected that I thought it was nearly an inch.

Maybe it was 6mm, half an inch, whatever... I was going through a transitional period with steel moderators and muzzle breaks. And throughout that time, the HW mod's were side by side on a shelf.

I knew one was definately longer, due to the other one being shorter see.

The question is, did the engineers at HW make the mod's in different lengths for perfect model specific performance?

Or did they need to put a slightly shorter mod' on some models of rifle so they'd all fit in the standard size HW cardboard carton?
