    Last time I had a Hake Andchips it was 4/6 not 4-16.

    Hake is a fish (in case you haven't got the jokes yet) Hawke make scopes

    Hawke made two scopes called "Eclipse" the very base model which later became the Hawke Sport range has a 25mm tube made pre 2008 might be worth £25-£30 on a good day.

    Later there was an "Eclipse 30" with a 30mm tube which in 2009 was second top of the range only behind the Sidewinder, they made them until 2014 might be worth£100+ for a late model.

    So it very much depends if you have a 25mm or 30mm model.

    Wonder whether its the right sort of scope to perch atop a barracuda HW. A noisy gun, was perhaps best for the hard of herring, but the whiff of burning ether... now that smelt. Still, quite a power pike. Trout be told, the added grunt was moray novelty. All prawn and no bream.
