Thought I'd mention that as I'm dans la belle France, if anyone wants anything brought back for the bash please pm me. There's an almost passable red vin de table for £10 for a 5l box which after the second glass tastes great. Cleans paint brushes a treat too!

ps, I did hit the bucket with a pistol last bash! Took around 30 shots, but I did it!

I don't often drink wine, but when I do / have done in the past, I can honestly say that the expensive stuff is wasted on me. Give me the cheap old "table plonk" any day of the week. As you say, once you've had a glass or two, it does indeed taste SO much better!

Anyways, we was gonna ask if you could bring back some half decent rouge as we've not been over this year, but now monsieur holonde has said he's going to destroy the jungle we can start going over again.

Mrs mole has tonight booked us into a hotel in Dorset for a naughty weekend in October rather than booking the cottage, so the bash is really looking possible (thank goodness) ,

Must admit, things were looking a little dire on the baccy front until recently.....Until two years ago, I always brought a year's supply back from either Luxembourg or Belgium on the way back from our hols. But we haven't been since August '14.

One of my customers is going to Assen British Superbikes this weekend and is going to bring some back for me, though.

But, if you go on a relatively regular-ish basis, wouldn't mind enlisting your services at some point in the future?

Me and a few lads did the 48hr at Spa - Francorchamps for 5 or 6 years starting back 15 odd years ago, well we didn't 'do it' we rode over on our motorcycles to watch it and cheap baccy was always a bonus. Been going back twice a year since. Couldn't imagine paying full whack for me smokes anymore
