Yeah, almost 37 years Service now mate, it's looked after me well and I wouldn't have a bad word said against it, I know we've had our bad times during times of Government austerity but it's a bit like our cars, we don't thank them every time they spark up and get us where we want them too (99% of the time) but we always remember the time(s) they let us down (Basil Fawlty comes to mind).

Sorry to hear that, though, and hope you get it sorted swiftly.

I think you must just be unlucky, as you also had that naughty, leaky '35.
Haha true I had to word that carefully as I almost said we don't have leaky problems with boingers (though I've now learned that we do )

Got my mate to bring over the filling cylinder this morning and have blasted some air through the gun cylinder so we'll see if that holds pressure. For now I'll have to rely on the 77 to get the job done.

I'm going to assist in some spring to spring bonding this evening!

As per the current thread on the link between springers and mechanical watches, one of my 30s is going to give my Seiko automatic the kiss of life!

    Wot? I'm not normal?

    Hey ho.......BOING!!!!!

    Plinky plonky session successfully completed.

That little 30S (affectionately named as "soft cock" by our Rhys) is such a lovely little thing. Naff all sight picture movement, lovely trigger and effortlessly sending Hobbies down the same pellet-sized hole with almost unnerving ease at 10 yards. Simmons 1.5-5x32 set on 2x.

It's probably a bit TOO easy, a little bit too PCP-like with so little going off in there! And the watch enjoyed its little bonding session but said it could have done with a bit more BOING, so will be using something a little more potent next time!

Sounds like you had a good 'plink plonk' with the 'soft cock' and the 'tick tock' Tone

    I did, Pauly, cheers.

Well overdue session was that, though.

Now, what would really make a lovely ending to the day would be a session focussed more on the "plonk" - but work tomorrow and early rise precludes that, really, and some, er, opposite to s--- c--- action if, er....

Just checking the sleepometer over post service.

    107 to go.

Now that I know it's all fine and properly calibrated for a season's worth of Boinger Sleep Counts, maybe lay it up until January?

I wish those other chaps would stop going on about those big-bruiser .25 berthas, Pauly.

    Really fancying one of them!

And Carl from Leyland wouldn't have come to a sticky end had he armed himself with one of these!
