    Creedmoor sight.

Hi, I'm looking for and old Creedmoor tang sight. I know that new ones are available for £70-£300 but I'm hoping that somewhere someone's got one with no home they want to donate for a small fee. Just don't have the spare cash for a new one.

What rifle is it for? The tang-plate angle differs considerably between, say, a Remington Rolling Block and any kind of a Sharps. That would govern whether or not you can actually see through it to the foresight, rather than having a great view of the sky or the first foot of barrel...BTW, Kranks list one for around sixty pounds or so. Is that too much?

It's a Parker Hale Sharps Volunteer. It's been sporterised in the past down to 26" and one band, but is shooting very nicely and the bore is bright crisp and clean. Very early serial number. At this moment £60 would take a bit of finding, esp with Xmas just round the corner!
