    Introduction To Reloading

When I looked into reloading for the first time I was overwhelmed by the minefield of information.

Once I got my head around the basics and gathered all the necessary equipment I had every intention to do a video series demonstrating how I reload, aimed at beginners. I finally got around to that this week and here it is:

*caveat: if it's not what you do then that's fine. This is a clip demonstrating my method which I find pretty simple and has proven successful for me*

    1.Resizing and Cleaning
    2 Trimming, Chamfering and Deburring
    3.Priming, Charging and Seating

Cheers ZaksGod. Hopefully some will find it useful. I've cobbled most of my bits together over time and refined things along the way

Great vids Elliot i watched them yesterday all i can say is go easy on the lube mate, you might get a build up in the die which will produce hydraulic dents in your brass, i lubricate every 5th case when full length resizing but use dry powdered lube for neck sizing.

Do these do an ok job Elliott as I bunged one on my Christmas list as I am planning to kick off reloading soon and they seem a hell of a lot cheaper that tumblers.

They do with the added benefit of cleaning the inside of the brass and the primer pockets which dry tumbling won't do. They'll get it clean what they don't do is get the brass really shiny, I've found dry tumbling best for this so mine either get wet tumbled or US cleaned depending on caliber then if I want them really shiny polished up in dry media. No massive benefit in shiny brass though, just looks nice!!
    Thanks for looking

Yeah if you limit amount of of brass to one layer in the tray and run a cycle with the same solution I use you'll be fine.

Dry tumbling after only dries the cases and gives them a final buff. If you use too much acid your cases can turn a salmon pink colour which the dry tumbler can also remove
