    The interesting thing is that it has the pre-war trigger (assembly) is there no number left, above the trigger, just below the cilinder? The other items can have been added after the war (grips, barrels). Very good bargain though especially if it turns out to be a pre-war copy.

    Wasn't aware the trigger was pre-war ... no marks at all.

    These pistols of this vintage are known for their very nice 'curly' triggers.
    I noticed the pre war trigger. It's possible if an early post war model that Webley
    Used up components already in stock.

    I see, probably would make it around 1946 then. Thanks. Shots great for a 70 year old with a very worn breech seal !
