The lad I shoot with picked up a box of factory load 36gn grenades for the .223 and they are just silly.

Group as well as 55gn vmax through his 1:8 t3 and doing in excess of 4100fps over the chrono (and chucking flame out the end of the mod which says to me there may be unburnt powder going to waste too )

Black Hills only claim 3,750fps and i presume his T3 is a 20" barrel, i would check your chrono if i where you.

Generally all my loads are faster over the chrono than the book says they should be, so I'd believe his chrono.

I find that with hornet loads too, and my 6.5 x 55!

Mine have seemed a bit faster than the book data states too using Lil Gun. I figured it was due to have a longer barrel.

12.5gr of Lil Gun gives me 3,000fps using 40gr V-Max

i was using hornady 50gn sp , with a full case of lilgun. good for 2850fps. a bit hot. but no split cases and sub moa, just explodes rabbits to the point of not even picking them up. just changed back to 40gn vmax. until i can test the varageddon!

Sounds like an effective load. It's shifting too for a 50gr projectile!
