I did consider buying one of the rifles from europe when there was a thread running about it on here,in the end I decided not to as I figured if it wasn't illegal at that point it would no doubt become so at some point in the near future and the loss of £1500 notes is too much to bear
Sad that only the criminals can be trusted with such weapons ,us law abiding shooters pay the price yet again
Smile!...today is the day you worried about yesterday. :-)

Same here, I bought the H5 Scout with the Biathalon cocking system instead. I'm glad I did as its crazy fast to fire anyway. So far people have voluntarily had the self loaders confiscated for destruction. The alternative is a very expensive court case with the outcome being possible time at her majestys pleasure, or at least a lifetime ban on owning any gun.

These look similar to the Aeron B96 in magazines, loading and action?
Obviously must be differences, but can someone explain?

Its essentially the same action, blowback self loading with a stick mag.
I had one of those, but sold it. Abroad!

Yep, then someone started rattling the Home Office's cage over the H5 SA.

Note to North Yorks Police: HW35's are evil and should be destroyed on sight!

    Correct Mike.
I suggest we stop drawing attention to the various examples before North Yorkshire Police go into overdrive!

If it is an air gun and not a .22 rimfire then its quite easy to make them legal. Just fit a smoothbore barrel!

I think Coburns semi-auto might go bang rather than phut.

Absolute weapons of mass destruction and anarchy. How could they allow these to circulate with an output of 4ft.lbs, menace to the public.
