.177 mate
not sure then. maybe some of the tuners on here will know. I think venomman on here is a Vmach fitting gunsmith.
Thanks for reply mate
Have you removed the 4mm thick washer from inside the piston which is held in by an O ring???
Atb Harry.
Don't think so how do you do it please
Hold the piston in your hand and lay a cloth on a flat surface and keep banging it and the weight of the washer will move the O ring and it will work its way down the shaft until it comes out,
Its a thick 4mm washer and just use one of the thin washers that comes with the kit afterwards if needed.
Atb Harry.
I did remove a large brass washer probly 6mm thick made or brass ,I thought last owner had put it in
There normally a thick steel washer and not brass,
Count the coils on the spring, Normal 177 spring has 28 to 29 coils,
Other then that you could collapse a coil or too and that's easier then cutting it down.
Atb Harry.
Speak to Steve at VMach and he'll rectify this. Top guy is Steve.
I bought a really ratty 77 and chucked in some second hand 'tuning' bits that transformed a pop gun into a serious squirrel zapper. I sold it for a bit more than I paid for it but later found out it was well over 12 ft/lbs. Ergh.
Now I've got the ultimate PCP set up (rifle and pistol) but nowhere to shoot but at paper targets. The dropping of pigeons, rabbits back legs nerve kicking or rats just falling over seems a long time ago. Sigh.
Paper targets. That's it or nothing.
So far...
