Getting up early, any real advantage?

Getting up early or going out at dusk this time of year seems to yield no better rabbit numbers. Is it just me finding this. The best time around here seems to be early afternoon especially when the sun is shinning. Any opinions would be most interesting to read.

    Kindest regards

Have noticed the same with early mornings. Between 10pm to 3am seem the most productive times here.

The rabbits I've had this last month have been between 3 and 5pm, on warm sunny days. I don't shoot at night.
That mod from Yns Mon's been interfering with me.

Maybe they just want to soak up every available bit of warmth.

Don't blame them. With the constant wet weather they are properly soaked up. A bit of sun and a snooze and a pellet in the head.

They will respond to disturbance, so the rabbits on your patch may behave differently to the rabbits on someone else's, even in the same area.

In their natural state, they are crepuscular.
