You need some M5 x 0.5mm grubscrews.
Could you not use some plastic plugs like these

End plugs from Bic biros. What is your first choice plate material? Blue steel, stainless, brass?
Do they have the correct pitch of thread?
They may be M5 x 0.5mm but that doesn't automatically mean the thread is the same as the Weihrauch ones.
