Hi,

There is an interesting article in JMs section of this months Airgun World magazine regarding the addition of accessories to replicas of classic live firing pistols.

I don't have too many of these, but couldn't resist the nice copy of the Webley Mk6 revolver especially in the realistic 'Battlefield' finish. I decided to source a period correct holster and opted for an original WW1 holster rather than the reproduction holster on offer with the pistol. The original holster cost no more than the reproduction item and after a bit of polishing looks almost new and exudes a level of quality which a modern replica couldn't hope to match. This revolver incorrectly features in Zulu which is my favourite film, but that hasn't stopped me keeping a look out for red coats and white pith helmets at military fairs etc. Unfortunately, the original 'Prideaux' speed loader doesn't belong to me, but would undoubtedly make a fine accessory to accompany the Mk6.

Now that really does look the part Brian.

I think World Wide Arms had some Prideaux speed loaders in a while back but not sure of their originality.
