    This is my usual reply, I keep thinking why do people keep asking for firearms advice on a forum when it would be simpler, quicker and more accurate to just phone there local firearms leason officer and ask some one who answers questions like this for a living

    I would remind you your FEO is normally a civilian employee.

    His advice unless in writing on police headed paper I s worth as much in court as the next fella in a pub..

    There are plenty on here who know a lot more about firearms law then all the licensing departments put together!!

    We have to be. If the FEO makes a mistake he says "Oops, Sorry". If we get it wrong, it's time to get used to porridge for breakfast!
