    Please excuse my ignorance

    Hi Guys
Due to a visual disability, I know longer drive and have chosen to use springers to avoid the paraphernalia associated with a pcp. However, the dark side has been calling recently. The guy who owns the range I use has loaned me his BSA Scorpion a few times and I'm quite taken with it. If I was to buy a BSA I'd be able to charge it at his place because his bottle has a BSA fill probe. Now my ignorance, are fill probes a standard design, or unique to each manufacturer? Will a BSA probe fit a Weihrauch HW110 which is my preferred choice.
    Cheers
    Steve

They're usually different mate. They can even be different between each model - for example, an Ultra probe is different to a Goldstar probe.

A company called 'Best Fittings' do a very good quick coupling kit for charging various pcps from the same bottle.

I'll make you a cuppa and try to find someone that can answer any questions you may have

Cheers Jon for the invite but have hands full tomorrow with kids birthday stuff. Hadn't realised there was an HFT place in Swindon.

    No worries mate.

It's a nice place - out in the woods, peaceful and quiet.

It'll be open this Sunday, then it's every Wednesday and Saturday.

    All of the above.
