Which is your preferred rifle manufacturer?

We havent had a poll on this forum for a while so I thought I would put one up.

So the question is "Which is your preferred rifle manufacturer?"

Feel free to choose more than one manufacturer and post which model/s you have and why you like it/them, you never know, some of us might learn something

    My Choices

Air Arms S400 .177 in a GinB stock - My first love, inexpensive, reliable and accurate in the right hands.

Steyr LG110 High Power Hunting .177 - Perfectly balanced, exceptional accuracy and beautifully crafted.

Sandwell Field Sports Tuned Weihrauch 97KT .177 - Out of the box the rifle is agricultural. Professionally tuned, this rifle is as accurate as a PCP. Solid germanic build quality.

So would it be inaccurate in the 'wrong hands'?

That could be a safety feature. Like if a wrong 'un gotten hold of it, and took a shot at an example of an endangered species of eagle - He'd miss harmlessly (yay!).

But if instead he took a shot at my greenhouse, missed, and hit my brand new car - That would SUCK.

So you'll understand why I'm not sure about it.

Although I don't have a new car or a greenhouse.

Air Arms all the way. S400 second hand for £260 about a million years ago with a GinB stock. Apart from a negative reaction to being over-filled it has been superb. And that is despite my lack of TLC. Still out shoots me. But then that is not much to ask these days...

Be great to see you Eddie, sorry I missed you last time. We have new hose reels for the rope! How exciting is that? You couldn't miss their inaugural outing!

ISP Airstream MK3 because of the bomb proof reg, the fact you can service it yourself, the Anschutz trigger cassette like on a Match 54, solid 1 1/4 inch receiver, air delivery direct from probe, 2mm hammer throw, reg checking port and all the Titanium as standard. Coupled with after sales service equalled by none in my opinion.

    Air Arms all the way

Definitely Air Arms, not only is it local, its simple easy to us and there is always someone who can fix it.

Mine is a second hand rust pitted, crimped rail S400 Classic, and it still out shoot my skill level.

    Air Arms TX200
