    Morning

Its probably been asked before, but can you still obtain an O ring set for the 162 series?

    Many thanks

Brilliant! Is there a link to that per chance?

    Cheers

Think they have sold out. Just send them a message. They often sell out.
    Think there about £28.

I know a chap on here who obtained a set via a bearing type shop in the U.K. Not sure how close his set was to the factory type.

    I wouldn't risk on my £2000 Titan.

Has anyone on here changed the o rings themselves?

Just wondering what level of dissembly is required, and if any special tools are needed?

    Cheers

There are 2 O rings on the barrel, easy to replace once the barrel is removed.
There is one O ring on the pellet probe, a trick to replace this: with the barrel removed, thread a drinking straw through the hole to the breach area, place the new O ring on the end of the straw and push it over the pellet probe while pressing the cocking lever to move the pellet probe into the straw.I have not actually done this but should work OK.
Otherwise you have to remove the cocking lever assembly to do it.
Dab a smidgeon of silicon oil on the O rings before fitting them.

    O rings

I've just changed the 7 o rings on my 162ei.
As above, there are 2 on the barrel, 1 on the pellet probe, 1 on the front cover of the reg body, 1 on the main reg body that threads into the block ( I had to machine a tool in my lathe to remove the reg body), there's 1 on the reg, and finally 1 on the transfer port. Once the reg body is removed, its quite easy to change the 'o' rings, just make sure the trigger bar is in the correct position.

Great info......not sure the reg tool applies to me though. Mines the fixed cylinder type.

Been looking for a complete schematic of the 162e with not much luck. If anyone knows of one could you point me in the right direction please.

    Cheers
