Shoot as normal, and shoot groups. Once you have a descent group, then start adjusting sights. If you are new to Air Pistol shooting, then don't adjust on each individual shot, or you will just end up chasing shots around the target. Discount any flyers, or any shots you know were not good shots.

Useing good flat head pellets like r10 make a lot of difference

Try keeping a second target card behind the one you're shooting. Keep it there for the session and it should show you where most of your shots are landing. You can then adjust your sights if necessary.

Wot he said..... POI shooting from a rest will not be the same as shooting offhand.
