Hi many thanks for letting us know, and for all the hard work you put in on the previous fairs.
Mick.
Ladies and gents, whilst I no longer have any organisational role at the Club I've endeavoured to find out a few more details. There will be more sellers than every before so that bodes well.
Essentially for those that have been before it will be "business" as usual. Entry will be the usual 2 or 3 quid, B&B table commissions similar to before, raffle, refreshments etc. There are reasons behind the lack of forum announcements re the event, and this will all be rectified for future events. Hopefully the info below will be of use. I'm not around much and the info below is the sum total of my knowledge regarding the Fayre.

Hi many thanks for letting us know, and for all the hard work you put in on the previous fairs.
Mick.
Thanks Micky, but the vast majority of the work was initially Chris and John, then Phil took over and put in the graft. My part was limited to trying to maintain a forum presence and provide as much info as possible.
I'm otherwise occupied on Thursday nights so rarely get to the club and hence am a bit out of touch, but hope that the "new management" have a successful event. Over the years it's become a great place to buy, view and have a chat about old airguns whilst benefiting the club and charity so trust that it will long continue.
Running your first Fayre is a bit daunting, but a few words with the organiser would doubtless be taken onboard.
Anyhow...just a couple of days to go. I.J has probably had a dozen 35's in and out of the house by now as he realises he just can't let them go.

A brief taster of items that'll be at the Fayre from just a couple of sellers.
Anyone else attending please feel free to add items that you'll be bringing, as ever there's the temptation for some people to make offers, I'd ask sellers to do the right thing and just ignore then.
