Now that looks awesome! I remember an original going at auction for circa 40k some years ago. I know the chap who made the replica for Sgt harper on the Sharpe series. This was a bargain at £260!

There are always good reasons not to buy something.

Many years ago I discovered British flintlock wall guns existed, told everybody I wanted one and shooting chum Gordon told me where one was for sale.

I bought it sight unseen, drove 85 miles to collect it and paid £2750.

I have never seen another, I do not know anyone else who has one, I love mine to bits.

Sometimes you just have to cast care to the winds and go for it.
