Older Hammerli or Webley Osprey/Tracker - can't think of much else that fits the brief, though you might be able to find a 'woodsman' stock for your Jackal...
I enjoy my Air Arms Hi-Power, but it does twang a little due to the plastic stock!
I like the format of the sidelever taploader, it kinda works for me, so are there any other rifles of a similar format I should look at? Needs to be capable of 11ftlbs without a "special" tune in 22.
Cheers - Geoff.
Thanks - Geoff.

Although I'm no expert on these, I have liked them ever since they first came out. And, at last, at our Boinger Bash events, I finally got to try a pair of them out......The Air Arms Khamsin....To my mind, the classiest of the breed. Beautiful styling, the looks and feel of a fine sporting rifle and pretty good trigger, too.
I WILL have me one, one day!

I have heard mixed reviews on the Webley Tracker, but I do like the look.
A friend has the Hammerli Mod4, not over powerful, so thats out.
The Khamsin is the thumbhole version? If so, probably not, as im a leftie!
So its maybe a Tracker, or more likely one of the Air Arms.
Cheers!
Thanks - Geoff.
The latter AA rifles were OK, especially in .22
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Did the Air Arms EX88 have an ambidextrous stock?
I had the pleasure of trying one at the last Bash, and very nice it was, too.

And there is the Air Arms Camargue, with a groovy Tyrolean stock. Though I do not know if they made a lefty variant.
Funny thing about those up-market AAs is that they cost more, new, than HW80/77s, FWB Sports, Omegas, and pretty much everything else with a spring. I'm amazed they sold any, given that they are basically an improved Webley Osprey in a pretty stock.
May not be the best, but for me the coolest sidelever taploader apart from the Jackal AR7 is a Webley Tracker deluxe with a front sight and a Beeman/Williams peep rear sight, or a Viscount Deluxe.
As a fellow Southpaw, I find it slightly awkward using a side lever on the right hand side of an air rifle however like many instances, you learn to adapt to the operation as I have with my Fwb300S.
A bit like loading TX when ideally, I need three arms !
A left side mounted cocking lever would be pretty cool though but I'm unaware of any ?
