I think you may have a problem with eye relief.
You'll need about 3" on a rifle but about 18" on a pistol.

I was about to say that too Rayton.
It's either a pistol scope or you use a small rifle scope and adjust yr shooting style (arms bent). Why not use a red-dot or laser?
