Southern Hunters Round 4 - Mile Oak 18th December

Welcome to Round 4 of the Southern Hunters at

Mile Oaks - Mile Oak farm BN41 2RF - please drive at walking pace through the farmyard and park in the field where indicated.

Signing in will be from about 8am with a start time of 10:30am

We have the following class trophies in each round:
Open 1st to 3rd
Recoil
Ladies
0.22
Junior
Veteran (over 60)

In addition to the above classes we will have a combined class award for the end of season for which you will need 2 scores in Open (or ladies or veteran with PCP), two scores in 0.22 and two scores in recoil.

Costs are £8 per adult or £4 per junior.

Air Arms have given us goody bags to be won at each round as well as a rifle for the final round (you will need to have shot 6 rounds to qualify for the rifle draw). We will have a bonus bunny pulled at the end of each round worth £1 per head - if £70 people shoot there is at £70 bonus bunny.

All courses will be set to UKAHFT 2016 rules

Oh well, field will be easy and woods are all simple basic shots..

It's all going to be oh so simple - I predict a ticket queueing system for the endless shoot offs of clear rounds

....... and I'll not be there

This is all down to a currently undiagnosed (waiting for MRI scan) back/hip/leg/knee problem which has so far led to my being on a constant feed of morphine, sufficient to enable me to hobble round the house, feeling vaguely pi**ed. Not even allowed (supposed) to crack open the several bottles of Aberlour I have on the shelf.

Would love to have been with you to show you how a vet can win and to wish you all, face-to-face, a very merry Christmas.

As it happens, it will have to be done virtually.
