come on boingers, don't let me down now. I have put the challenge to Nick and if we dont step up to the mark and let the ballet boys (tutu shooters) then its going to cost me dinner and you've seen the size of Nick.

Right! The gloves are off then!

I'm putting a formal call out to Tench, Ed Tandi, Kev Catt, and Nick Hopkinson - the honour of the .22 Class is at stake, gentlemen.

We cannot allow Rex and his chums to put one over The Heavy Artillery Regiment, can we!

And whilst I might have a stature that could fairly be described as "on the generous side", you're not exactly going to be cheap to feed either, Rex

If you haven't entered the B.A.R.C. Shoot yet and are taking part in the final round of the Southern Hunters Series this Sunday at Bisley, then here's your chance to do so!

Entry forms will be available when you sign in at Bisley, and those awfully nice chaps from Southern Hunters will happily take your completed forms and entry fee - and as soon as you've done that your place in this unique air rifle competition is guaranteed

The countdown continues towards the biggest event in the Field Target and HFT calendars, the British Air Rifle Championships - a unique event designed to find the very best shot in competitive air rifle shooting!

Whether you shoot Field Target or HFT, it's not too late to enter - simply click HERE download your entry form, fill it in and send it off to us here at CompAir. Job done!

And don't forget, all competitors are automatically entered into the Air Arms Speed Shoot free of charge! Plus, you can try out a range of their very finest target rifles, including the HFT 500 and the FTP 900 on the 70 yard Maldon plinking range

You can now Pay-on-the-Day to enter the B.A.R.C.

We've had quite a few requests from people who don't possess a cheque book and who just can't face queuing up in the Post Office to buy a postal order (quite understandably!), and so you'll now be able to pay your entry fee when you sign in and collect your score card for the competition.

If you could let us know beforehand if you would like to do this, it would be much appreciated - just add your name below
