    Hw 55t scope rails

    Hi all
Would anyone happen to know if the above
Came in 13mm or 11mm scope rails
The rifle is a future buy so as yet don't
Know year of manufacture if this makes
    A difference
    Cheers

Can be either dependent on year. My understanding is that HW changed from 13 to 11mm dovetails in 1978 approx. Sorry, can't be more precise. Maybe someone who can will be along shortly.
I'm presuming the 55 T was made prior to that. Good luck with your purchase.

The 55T rifles that I have are all fitted with the early 11mm scope rails and need the HW 11mm rear dioptre to fit them.

Most 55T rifles still have their WH dioptre sites attached as target rifles are generally well looked after and kept complete.

The only HW55T rifles that I have had that have not been in top condition are those that have been "butchered" by adding over-powered springs and scopes and this destroys the smooth shooting characteristic that makes the rifle as good as it is.

Fortunately there are very few like this about and they are best avoided. IMHO.

Belongs to a very good mate of mine so
The sale did not go ahead as planned its
A pity lm not into Walthers as it was in
    Excellent condition

Personally I favour the Walther 55 over the HW55. Ive a couple of Walther 55 one with a set trigger arrangement.

    Hi Ian
Yes it was a very nice rifle and it was hard to say no
I suppose I'll regret it, mind you my mates got a nice
Boxed LP2 😊 And in a line fromTHE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
    (I've got to keep control)
Keep a look out for those 11mm APPLES 😄
    Regards
    Les
