3 litre divers bottle re test / Norwich area ?

    Hi all

I've just realised that my 3 litre divers bottle that I use for topping up my HW100 is out of test. As I have recently moved to Mundesley, Norwich from Hertfordshire, I was just wondering if any of you guys could recommend a decent divers shop that will retest my bottle for me, and also do the occasional refill as well,

    Regards,

Thanks for the swift reply Riffler

As this is my first divers bottlle, could you also tell me, how long does the divers shop keep the bottle on test, and how much is it likely to cost,

    bottle testing

crystal seas scuba will do it - but its a full IDEST test - which costs about £60 quid - would n't touch my DOT tested bottle.

Flameskill in Yarmouth will also do it about £40 if I remember rightly

    All are friendly and helpful

Forgive my ignorance but, what is a full IDEST test, and what is a DOT bottle. I am a complete novice where air bottles are concerned, but all I know is, My bottle is made by Hydrotech and is 3 litre in size. I bought it from the Airgun Centre in Rayleigh Essex with my HW100,

    Hi John,

Jan 2016 they quoted by phone £46 to test and fill my 12ltr dumpy to 232 bar.

28/1/16 I paid £56 for the test, valve service and fill.
A fill on its own would be £4.50 at that time.

The test label I got says IDEST 4S (don't know what this means).
I paid a £20 "test deposit" when I dropped it off with them.

It passed and I got a 5yr test cert.

I use flame skill in gt Yarmouth for testing they usually do it the same day and refills wile you wait the only downside is that the test is not recognised at scuba diving shops so can be a problem if you want to fill most of the local clubs have there's done by them at waveney shooting club they have their own 300bar compressor and it's only £5 a fill

    Thanks for the replies lads

I ended up taking the divers bottle to the above divers shop, seemed to be the nearest option from where I live,
