Face to Face Deals/Distance Travelled ?

At a time when due to posting complications or otherwise, I got to think about the following :
How far have you travelled to carry out a F2F deal for shooting gear, gun/scope/kit ?

Me, I did a return trip in a day of 336 miles from Sheffield to Cockermouth, Cumbria to buy an Airsporter a few years back and a round trip of 369 miles from Sheffield to Theoben, Cambs. to collect a serviced Fenman then onto SFS West Mids. to collect two tuned air rifles and back home to Sheffield at about the same time again all in a day.

Furthest I've travelled was a round trip of about 120miles to the north side of Manchester. Also done a few slightly shorter trips....

He was going over for vodka anyway John

I've travelled from London to Leominster in Wales for a HW95. 300 mile round trip. I didn't have to but I see it as a little adventure - a nice day out, meet a like minded Boinger and another air rifle too

Great place - have you been to Auschwitz - every one should go there to experience the inhumane horror - and the salt Mines.
Interesting restaurant shaped like a railway carriage which is well worth a go as well.

    Have a great trip Nick.

I did a 244 mile round trip to pick up a gun that I've never been able to get on with.
