    Thanks
I will need a black spacer, on the original which I plan to replicate, the stock was shortened and I then attached the spacer as the dovetail mount for the butt plate, so I will need one, perhaps if it is missing some one else has one?

Yes, it has the black spacer, Robin.

My daughter came round this afternoon and took photographs of the gun, but forgot to bring the wire to attach her camera to my computer.

She later emailed them to me. But I'm not a computer enthusiast, and haven't been able to download them.

So, tomorrow night she's coming round again after work with the adaptor and will put them directly on to my desktop.

You'll be able to see them tomorrow night.

    Thanks Arthur

After a 5 year search for the original one I don't think a few days will make much difference!

    Apologies again.

My daughter worked late tonight and went home tired without dropping in at our house.

I expect to see her tomorrow and will put the photos up as soon as possible.

I hope you'll find the wait was worth it.

Dont be silly! You KNOW Originals are kept under the stairs and Webley pistols in the dustbin.

Blimey, you wait in suspense for one photo, and 13 come along together

It's definitely not my old Original 75. Mine was covered in comp stickers dating from 1981 when I sold it a few years ago.

Thanks for the prompt reply Robin.

Due to the size of the gun I will have to use Parcel Force, which offers only 100 pounds insurance cover.

By completing this deal you are accepting that, in the unlikely event of loss of damage, it is at your own risk. I think this is fair as there is another forum member who is prepared to do a face to face deal.

I will pm you my name and address and send the gun when the cheque clears.

With thanks to the other two members who have offered to buy.

    Hi Robin,

To preserve as much authenticity as possible I know you wanted one of the first type of black nylon butt plate spacers that was CNC machined from the solid and not the later moulded type that almost all Model 75 rifles have fitted.

I dug around in all of the bits and pieces I had to remove from the warehouse when I retired - all treasures that were too good to throw away (in my opinion) - and after shifting almost two tons of "treasure" I finally found what I was looking for - a solid CNC machined butt plate spacer from a very early Original Model 75 rifle - just like the one you are trying to replicate !

It comes with the metal dovetail still screwed to it and ready for you to fit to your restoration project.

Please email me with your address again and I will get it in the post to you this week!

I also have some other Model 75 parts so if you need anything else just let me know
