Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
Does anyone from custom stocks frequent the BBS?
Well I've just sent them a message asking if it's even possible to do a run so let's wait and see.
Well if you don't ask, you don't get, good on ya mate
Brockock had the best walnut stock for me. Oh galleons came the same. no Brockock.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.
I have used a number of stocks on my HW80. Currently my FAC .22 has a CS500-simple uncluttered lines perfect for 'sporting' use. My 2 legal limit 80's have CS700 and my favourite CS800. I recently acquired a lovely CS500 for my HW95 which suits it perfectly.
In terms of price the CS stocks are very reasonable whereas the more exotic examples-Gary Cane to name but one-cost a lot of money. The original Venom stocks are lovely but hard to find. Th modern CS ones are perhaps not as nice but provided you get one with the rosewood cap and properly fitting butt pad you won't be disappointed.

I just much prefer the shape of the venom over the cs500, a bit thinner and more elegant.
I agree with you. The nicest CS stocks are the older ones anyway and once 'improved' by Venom and others they are really good. They used better wood than even the best of the current offerings. That being said they are very cheap compared with the specialist stock makers like Gary Cane. We can't have it all unfortunately.
