Airsporter Mk1 rearsight query

Mine has some lateral movement within its 'notch'. I'm assuming the whole sight just taps out to either side- but how do I tighten it up to avoid this side to side movement? Its tight in there and will not slide out accidentally, but there is a noticeable amount of free play. Do I glue it?

.it must be removed before starting...from the left hand side (looking down the gun in the shooting position), and replaced from the right.


If it is removed from the left, why does it not go back in the same way?
