    BSA meteor spring

    Hi all,

    Happy new year.

    I have a question,

Does anyone know where I could get hold of a spring and barrel seal for an old .177 BSA Meteor? I think it is a MK1, it has been in the family for must be around 20 years now but needs some tlc as my cousins boys now use it and I want to keep the legacy going.

Also any fitting advice. The rifle is located in Southern Africa so I will be fitting myself on my next visit back.

Cheers in advance for the help

    Geoff

    Welcome.

Chambers and Protek will do std spec springs. And John Knibbs. I'd not use a titan and they are too long/ will make the gun harsh.
they will do the seals too.
Nice little guns the old meteors.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Thanks for the info.

I will look into it and hopefully can get it back to its former self.
