Oh yes, very excited here and Little Zeb has had to contained securely.

Wednesday should see me getting the scopes back onto The Predator and The Vantage which I collected from Steve last Wednesday. It'll be a maiden Bash visit for the Vantage, as it hasn't been used since the late 80s and lived in my dad's cabinet until I yanked it out last year to take it to Steve's. Bolt the scopes on and get a quick zero down the hallway, then hopefully a few little tweaks once they get to The Hollow.

Question Hey, I think 'Er Indoors........

.......Is seriously addicted to visiting Airgun shops!

Or maybe not, actually, as, as she keeps reminding me, she hates guns!

I managed to get some FTTs from my usual RFD the other week. Then, when I visited A&M a week or so ago, I got some 'Domes. But, despite him seemingly having just about everything else available, he didn't have any Hobbies.

So, last Saturday, the missus had to go to Wakefield to take the daughter to look at a prom dress. As she would be driving past Redbeck, I asked if she could call in and get me the Hobbies. Which she did.

She had to go again yesterday.

Imagine my surprise when I got a call from her mid-afternoon whilst I was at work......"I'm at that horrible gun shop again. They have these double rifle cases. Do you want me to get you a couple?".

    Ah, the answer was yes.

These are the Buffalo River ones. Seemingly very sturdy and lockable. Usual retailing for about £85 and they're doing them for £65. So, everything can be under lock and key again, as it should be. You never know, if I can re-organise the cabinet to my advantage, I might be able to create room for one more rifle as a future purchase......

And she didn't say "No" when I suggested I could maybe get another case or two in the future!!

Superb Tone Looking forward to seeing you again.

I bet you're getting ready to watch the bike racing. I'm recording it. Did they even manage to get qualifying done yet??

And so looking forward to spending some quality time with my Phil, young sir.

We've got to go out shortly to drop Mummy's Day bits and bobs off.

The weather at Qatar's been a pig by all accounts. I kept checking the timings earlier just to see if they were going to bring the race timings forwards to race in daylight. It's looking like they're not going to. And no qualifying. So Valentino is tenth on the grid, based on the Thursday times. I think they're probably having a slightly longer warm up session to allow the riders a little more track time?

I reckon it's going to be a bit of a lottery, as so many haven't had the time to get a proper set up. With a few hours to go, I'm quite stressed and anxious, actually. I'm always like that on a race weekend. Looking forward to it, but stressed too.

Really hoping Vale can make one of his lightning starts and gain a few places in the first lap and then see how things settle.....

I think the smart money simply has to be on his team mate, Vinales. And I reckon Andrea Iannone will be right up there, too.

Fingers (and everything else) well and truly crossed for Vale and a win. Or at least a nice, strong podium.

And here's hoping that Marc and Jorge struggle!

Forza Vale....from a very tense Tone!

    And +1 from me, Mick.

My 15 year old daughter, Monza, will be making her first Bash appearance. Mainly as she has chosen to do shooting as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. Hopefully she'll bite the bug. Will bring a tenner for sprog payment.
