Thank you for the birthday wishes, fine fellows.

I had pizza, followed by chocolate eclairs for tea.

See you all Saturday morning, God willing.

    Phil

I hope you had a good day mate and I very much look forward to seeing you on Saturday X

By the way, that CS stock I recently bought for my 77 fits absolutely fine in my little frame, I didn't find it overly long at all. I'm bringing it tomorrow so you'll have to have a look and let me know what you think.

won't be required Phil, I was actually concerned about it before it arrived given your knowledgeable advice but once I fitted it and shouldered it, it actually feels 'shorter' than my my factory fitted ambi stock I haven't actually shot it at a target in the new stock yet so this weekend should give me some feedback.

And here we are. So very, very nearly there after such a long wait through the Winter.

I'd love to be able to see The Hollow just now. A picture of chill and serenity, no doubt, and waiting with open arms ready to warmly welcome more guests and seduce them with her tranquility and feeling of utter well-being.

I hope you happy campers had a great first day and enjoyed your evening festivities.

And safe journeys to all the peeps making the journey today and tomorrow.

Sleep count....... -1, 0 or 1 to go!

With me bringing my daughter along, it'd be lovely if she could have a little formal coaching.

I've talked her through the safety aspects and told her to google up gun safety.

Hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll get the Vantage and Predator scoped and zeroed in. And I thought I'd let her have a little taster when she gets back from school. But, as with so many things in life, sometimes I think sprogs will listen more to people who aren't familiar to them and take things a little more seriously, though I still want her to have a fun time so that she bites the bug.

    Anyone up for it?
