As above, just wondering if any of you fine chaps has ever done any official coaching?

With me bringing my daughter along, it'd be lovely if she could have a little formal coaching.

I've talked her through the safety aspects and told her to google up gun safety.

Hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll get the Vantage and Predator scoped and zeroed in. And I thought I'd let her have a little taster when she gets back from school. But, as with so many things in life, sometimes I think sprogs will listen more to people who aren't familiar to them and take things a little more seriously, though I still want her to have a fun time so that she bites the bug.

Anyone up for it?

I am a NRA Range Conduction Officer and I used to run the training courses at Swadlincote Rifle and Pistol Club. I am shooting a comp tomorrow morning, but I shall just be popping in so say "howdy" to you Guys tomorrow afternoon, and I will gladly spend half an hour with your Daughter.

Hi all

Is there anyone going to the bash that can reparalax a scope?

I have a lovely Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 but at 20yds, Can only go up to 5x mag or it becomes blurred, It's OK a much longer dranges on full mag

A gent that's a member on here altered a 2x cobalt scope for me as the eye relief was wrong, That's perfect now but I don't think the Nikon will adjust as easy!!

Oh yes indeedy, and me so 'cited!

A toughie at work. Month end and loads of bikes going out. Really hectic. When I managed to go for a piddle, at least I had a little time to reflect and think, "it's okay, just get stuck in, only a few more hours and then it's two days at The Hollow". Then back into the hectic showroom.

Anyways, getting sorted now. Car fuelled ready, so the next time I get in it we'll be Hollow bound.

It almost doesn't feel like it's really, really Bash time, but it is, right? Not really quite sinking in at the moment. Any outsider would wrongly question how grown blokes could get so excited, especially after many repeat visits, but the Call of The Bash seemingly gets stronger with each event and the opportunity to be reunited with good friends and meet new ones.


Don't think we'll be getting that much sleep tonight!

Can't wait to see you all on the 'morrow!
