This was my first 'Bash' and I will be back. I did however loose something while I was on the range and if anybody found it I would like it back What I lost was a very small piece of my brain. This was the part that had come to the conclusion that Pcp air rifles were the natural technology progression. Since loosing this part on my cranium content I returned from the 'Bash' with a another springer rifle.
Once again thanks......see you at the next one
    Another springer?

    Excellent; job done!

Glad you enjoyed your first Bash and sorry for not being able to catch up with you. Next time, though.

Yep, and I think I have seen a few similar posts in the past, Pauly. So, even though a recoilless gun may give better results in the short term, the Boinger provides the grin factor.

    Sounds familiar!

And, yes, the advocate is most certainly required here to even the balance up a little. The FPO really has a bitter, negative attitude towards guns, despite all my efforts.

The younger lad, who will be 12 in June is more than keen to have a go, but she's blocking that thus far.

    His time will come.

    Cheers, Lovely Phil.

Dunno where the looks came from....certainly couldn't have been me!

So far, no "lad issues", but she has been good and focussing on school. And we don't let them go a-wandering. Now, if mummy will just let her have a good try at getting into this whole airgunning thing.....

Nah, one of those trick FT contraptions, with metal butt pad and sticky-out bits will do it much better, Pauly.

She was going to have siblings called Valentino and Imola too, Phil.

But they died at an early stage of pregnancy.

But Frankie (after Frankie Chili) is all well and good.

    Spot the connection?

    Correct, John.

    I'm into Ducatis.

When I got Brembo it was a toss up between Desmo and her chosen name. But I did once call a doggy "Desmo"......Back in 2003 we were having a stroll around Sorrento. This cute looking street dog (I think that's what he was anyway) latched onto us. Followed us everywhere for hours. I kept feeding him little snacks all day. Really well behaved little doggy too. Walked perfectly to heel. Stopped and sat on command before crossing any roads etc.

Later in the day, as we were walking back to the car, he must have sensed that we were going to be leaving. Some American tourists were walking towards us. "Desmo" simply latched onto them and off he went, obviously hopeful of some rich pickings from those people.

    A 100% true story.

Sounds a bit like any European lad moving in on a young female tourist on holiday I wouldn't mind guessing Sorrento Desmo is on his 150th owner by now, crafty little Bugger . Can't beat that Brembo of yours Tone
