And, yes, very possibly older than you.

I bought a standard .177 HW77 when they first came out. And it developed into a Vantage in small steps. First a Venom tune. Then a service. I can't remember what order the various other add-ons came in now, but it wears the Vantage stock, muzzle break / underlever catch, cocking lever grip and a retro Tasco 2-7x32 AG AO on top. It used to be my FT gun, but hasn't been shot since, approximately, the late 80s.
Ahhhhh... It's one of those I have a feeling the evo will be one of those two.....

I had the 4x32 (older style) with the Plex Ret & I loved the reticle really clean & nicely fine. It ment you could shoot really accurate further than you might imagine..
Lovely. Love to look at it at the bash if your taking it?

    BOING

Up we go for an early morning BOING

The event is getting ever nearer and it's very interesting to read about some of these older BOINGERS coming to the event ....... that's guns and not owners

    Early morning tea break, Paul?

I wouldn't quite describe these as "older boingers", the rifles still being available new today.

However, what are most definitely older are the utterly beautiful and charming Lincoln Jeffries rifles that I had the absolute pleasure of shooting at the November Bash, courtesy of those fine gents Les and Mike.

Now there were truly something quite special.

And much older than any Bash attendee.

And, yep, you are so right.....The Bash is just around the corner.....We've seen it so many times....It seems to be an age away and it feels like we'll never get there, but then, crash, bang, wallop, boing and it's on top of us. The last few days, when people talk of their preparation plans and travelling schedules are great. And then we hear that a Boingerman has arrived. Then another. Then another....and so it builds.

Hopefully we'll have a few more newbies jump in.

And there are a great number of nice, returnee Boingermen not on the list as yet, who are sure to jump in.....Come on, peeps; let's be 'avin' yer! There are some lovely, special peeps; good friends of The Hollow who are sure to be joining us again. I've fallen into the trap in the past of trying to rattle a list off, only to miss one or two off and then feel like a complete dick, so I'm not doing that again!

Come on my fine folk, jump in!

Only 28 sleeps to go until the big Boingering Day, folks!

    BOING!!

    BOING BOING

Tony, it will be good to see these retro and vintage guns in action,
and no doubt I will be wishing that I'd kept my guns from the 80's

I wouldn't mind another Mk 2 Vulcan if one came up or a really nice HW35E with that loverly long barrel

    Anyhow.....
Another bonus afternoon BOING from Bluewater shopping centre

March AGW purchased and now browsing round and checking out the MILFS
