I've just googled up "For mash, get Smash" and you go to a video on Classic Ads.

I thought the later advert, where you have the alien family eating their Smash supper and then enjoying watching the Earth TV channel with the old Doris showing how to cook and mash the spuds was dead funny too, John!

Visited my regular RFD today, for the first time since last Summer when I bought the TX.

Got a new Diablo slingshot. The band had snapped in my old one a few months ago and I was just going to buy a new band, but the handle is more contoured and comfortable on the new version.

He doesn't sell RWS pellets, but I thought I'd get an extra tin of FTTs in both flavours. He had run out of .22 ones, but gave me a nearly full tin that he had been given on a part exchange deal. At a glance, they look fine, so I'll give them a go.

Was so very nearly tempted to pick some .177 Barracuda Match up, too, as I used to love the old (slightly lighter Silhouettes) years ago. Talked myself out of them, but kicking myself a little now. Anyone else use them in sub-12 boingers?

Found myself stroking a '57 that was on the rack. I thought it prudent not to pick it up and start handling it, as I knew what'd happen....
