What is the best looking springer WITHOUT the stock

OK the current best looking springer is the PS but once you remove the stock what spring gun action looks the best in terms of engineering design, robustness, and satisfying just to look at

I like guns that look both nice on the inside as well as the outside before I want them as keepers

I dont want much do I LOL.

Original Model 50. Although some side levers look good out of the stock.

I love this question. Its got to be one of the best questions ever asked on the BBS
I'll go for the BSA Mk1 Airsporter. A lovely piece of engineering.

In regards to the engineering design and robustness part of the question, then the little Baikal break barrel i bought new the other week would take some beating, the cocking links are hefty solid steel, the lugs under the cylinder which guide the cocking linkage and are the stock attachment points are heavy guage and well welded.no fabricated parts to be seen and if HW were to copy the way the link cocks the piston then no galling would take place,
The blueing is pretty good as well,so overall the out of the stock appearance is very neat and functional.
The breech block is a ballistic material and also houses the rear open sight, an identical material seems to have been used to make the front open sight housing/cocking sleeve. so over all ,yes looks technically very neat.
According to the supplied stamped and signed manual it was manufactured in the USSR 2009. greased and wrapped in brown preservative paper.I followed the re commisioning instructions carefully!
    I like it!

Only because the old relics never came with a stock in the first place Tone.

Tis a stupid question, mind. With the obviously correct answer being the Mk1 HW 77K.

I also have to agree with the Airsporter as you still have the beauty of the slopping trigger block and the curved trigger guard in full view.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Yes it's a work of art what can be done with a curtain rail but I prefer something more robust that can be dismantled many times and not locktighting the cylinder linkage bolt
Apart from that the action is a contender for the best looking action

Which model is it, if I might ask?

I imagine the power is mid to low range.

Not necessarily a problem for me.
