    Theoben Rapid 12 advice

Hi learned BBS folk, a bit of advise, please.

And no, I'm not buying a PCP.

One of my bike customers called in today and her husband has a couple of Airguns, including the aforementioned Theoben. He was asking where might be a good place to take it for a check-over / service and have a magazine issue looked at.

    He lives in Dudley.

I suggested XTX-Air; not far down the road from him at Worcester.

    Assume I've advised him correctly?

Given location I think this is a good choice. The other option would be Kevg but that would mean traveling to Sheffield. The rapid is a straightforward gun to service, but if not experienced for safety, perhaps best left to a professional.
As an alternative perhaps you should offer to buy and sample the forbidden fruit, you never know you might develop a taste for it!

    Thanks, p.j.

As regards me trying one, that'll be a "no" for a number of reasons, two of them being that he doesn't want to sell it and it's an FAC model.

BigAls, condor park Notts, top bloke. Not sure if you can find him on here but on other uk forums.

Kevg is not very well at the moment, best not to bother him, bit of a trek but I'm in Peterborough.
