    Side wheel Paralax

    One and All,

    I am looking for a side wheel Paralax scope for my youngster. I've been shooting for a fair while but never had one my self any suggestions would be great fully received. I've looked a a BSA Quarry King so far it does not look to bad but it's got a high mag.

    My advice ( having five of these impressive looking sidwheels ) is not to bother. A scope of 44~40 mm objective @ 6X~8X and parallaxed to 25 yrads is clear from 15~40 yards. I would imagine something like Hawke vantage SF will do the job as the correction for other distances is minimal unlees ofcourse he is training to get into the FT circuit where he will have to use the wheel to range find.
