    Rapid Service

Hi, Does anyone know if Kev is back in business, I note his inbox is full so not looking good.

Any other recommendations for a quality service of the Rapid - based in the north east of England.

Could probably walk you through it. When you say service, is there something wrong with it?

    Hi Jon,

Thanks for the offer,I was just trying to keep the description simple. The Rapid is a heavily modified TTR1 with a lot of RAW products fitted, carbon barrel shroud, 200cc tube instead of the bottle including RAW regulator and quick fill adapter. Also converted to dedicated single shot, all work done by Ben Taylor.

But it’s sat idle for about four or five years now, so a service is a must. The fitting of a cylinder pressure gauge would be great also.

    If your qualified I’m interested.

    I am not qualified.

A quick o ring swap around on a fairly standard rapid I could bungle through but beyond that...

    Try the rapid7ownersclub.

Plenty of people on there I'm sure could, some who have even made their own. Kev g is a member on there also but currently out of action I believe.

Hi, thanks for the replies. With Kev apparently out of action I've decided to go with Impact Airguns. Read some good reports and with their background they should know there stuff.

    Rapid service

Have you tried Dave mercer (dm80) on here. Only in farnwoth not that far from Wigan. I am sure he would be able to help you, always found him to be helpful and can certainly recommend him and his work. Hope this helps.

By far the best place for information about rapids is the rapid7owners forum. click on the members map, see who is local to you that could help.

Having just been talked through how to do mine by someone a lot smarter than me!

Thank you so much again. All holding air. Barrels off for threading and then hopefully get set up and running next weekend.

P.S. I could also advise on the worst way to get all the air out...
