    |Walther LGV and LGU calibre question

My LGV is still the most accurate break barrel in 177 that I have ever owned. I once had an LGU in the same calibre that was actually slightly more accurate.

Are these guns at their best in the smaller calibre, or are they equally as good in 22?

I've got both in .22 - the LGU is indeed blindingly accurate (with Falcon Accuracy Plus). The jury's still out on the LGV: it doesn't seem to like the light FAP pellets, and diesels quite noticeably. When I switch to something a bit heavier, like AA Field or H&N FTT, the dieselling stops, so I'm still finding the best combo.

    Cheers

In my experience they "feel" nicer to shoot in the .177 cal as the felt recoil seems more in the .22 cal which goes against the norm. I have shot better groups with the .177, also the .22 was too close to the limit for comfort out of the box.
