    Sporting air rifle

I've braved the loft ladder n managed to retrieve my collection from the rear attic. Glass of single malt, bluetoothing some of the songs of my youth to.my newly acquired sound bar n it's back to 1985 for me this evening
I've looked up the price of a BSF Venom back in the day. Blimey no wonder they didn't sell many. On the other hand I dearly wish I could have stretched to one back then

It is that mate. My old gun mags n this malt. You jocks make some cracking whisky but I think I've met my match in this Ardbeg. Smokey isnt the word. Think it's been strained through the cinders at a coal fired power station.
But then that's coming from a southern shandy drinker so no criticism

Aye, the island malts can be an acquired taste. You may grow to like it eventually. It took me some years years of Highland and Speyside malts to limber up for the likes of Ardbeg.
And by the way- a drop of ice cold tap water is permissible. Different experience.

    Hi dave
If it's the ardbeg uigeadail 54.2% I would suggest a tad more than
A splash of water .but your system may require a running period
Of 10 year old laphroaig first which is commonly known in Sheffield
As leapfrog ,at the moment I'm just having a more sedate 10 old
    Macallan 😜
    Cheers

Its good that there are those amongst us that appreciate the finer things in life. Quality classic guns and single malt whiskys. Oh by the way both I also brought back a bottle of Tullarbadine from Sterling just before the new year. I passed the distillery on route there from Perth. Cant say I'm, a huge fan of this one- I think it's Sovereign?
