    thoughts on hawke frontier 2.5-10x44

    Interested in the thoughts on the scope aswell as for hft anyone like them??

    I found the field of view rather narrower than I expected. Quite nice glass. But I didn't use mine for HFT, got a Bushnell 5-15 for that.

    Not a bad scope for the money, good glass, could clearly see/inspect the feathers around a crows eye at 50yds, would need re-parallaxing though as set at 100yds from the factory but easy enough to do, slightly tinted lens coatings giving quite a nice subtle/warm sight picture (if your into that sorta thing, I quite liked it anyway) excellent on 10x for sniping bunnies etc, don't see why it couldn't be used for HFT, probably better scopes on the market for the purpose though...
