Gamo Centre rearsight elevation screw - what thread size? Anybody know?

    Hi,
I picked up a project pistol with this part missing. Does anyone know the thread size/pitch?
    Cheers Rich.

    Hi,
Not sure of the size but it has grooves under the screw head that give you your ‘clicks’
    John knibbs sell them:

Cheers, that is my next option. Just wondered if I might have something knocking about I could test it with before forking out for spares.

Being 'foreign' as distinct to UK or American origin, my guess would be a metric thread but I could be wrong ... maybe even a BA thread. Can you try to measure the hole diameter to give a clue and then try a few thread types to see if you have a fit. Might be 3mm or even be 3.5mm as found on electric pattress boxes.Maybe a cheese head screw would fit which you could then fit with a flat washer glued under the head, or even a serrated washer to give ridges. Might be worth a go if you are reluctant to buy a new one. I guess this is why thread sizes are never, or very rarely, published.
    Cheers, Phil

Think I might just get the proper part. I suspect the thread is very fine and wouldn't want to balls it up!
