    Terry doe rifle in magazine

Had a quick flick through an airgun magazine yesterday
Terry doe was on the editorial bit holding a camo, skeleton type rifle?

I liked the look of it

    Anyone know what it was?

    Thanks

I'm sure Terry will be along shortly to tell you

    Pete
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Sorry for the late reply; I've been out of the country.

I think you mean the photo of me with a prototype of the Benjamin Woodswalker PCP in rifle form. Am I also holding a squirrel?

I'm still waiting for the production version but it's certainly an interesting little rifle.

    Hope that helps.

Hi terry, whileyour on here, what doyou think is the ultimate airgun of all time? Which was so ground breaking, that made its mark!

Massive subject, mate, and one that deserves its own thread, really.

From an 'affecting the sport' point of view, few airguns brought in as many new shooters as the Harrington Gat - yes, really.

Then there was the Weihrauch HW35 and its Rekord trigger - the breakthrough uplift for so many of us back in the day.

Then Daystate began the 'PCP revolution' which changed the game completely, followed by the Theoben Rapid 7 that cranked things up another notch.

Depends on your perspective, really. Interesting subject, though.

Agree with your choices, TD (although I don't "do" the PCP thing).

And I think I'd be adding the humble little Meteor in there. That little thing must have launched a few thousand airgunning careers over the years.

And, of course, the timeless HW77, heralding the sliding breech in a full power sporter and "small bore dynamics" spawning many impersonators and tuning regimes.

    Hope you're keeping well, sir.

    Few thoughts:

    Giffard.

    Lincoln Jeffries BSA u/l.

Diana LP6G as first "recoilless" target airgun.

HW80/Beeman R1. Just. But very influential, especially in America.

Looking at the recent fashion for gas-spring rifles, either the Argentinian Shark or the first Theoben Siroccos.
