All conjecture, maybe it was a pellet or BB gun or maybe it wasn't.
The Anti's will love this article.
Please read - http://www.wigantoday.net/news/dog-w...oods-1-8357333
Note the dramatic headline - TARGETED BY A GUNMAN.
If you read the article, you'll see that there is no evidence that a airgun was involved at all, could have been a stone from a catapult for all we know.
I also find the comment made by the dog walker that they have had warning shots fired from across fields at OTHER locations to warn them off from walking their dogs there. Ummm...really??
Then the article ends by referring to the recent legislation introduced in Scotland.
The word spurious and propaganda comes to mind.
All conjecture, maybe it was a pellet or BB gun or maybe it wasn't.
"Current law allows anyone over 18 to purchase an air rifle although their are calls to tighten up legislation."
Wow, just wow. This is a journalist writing a published article. Doesn't say much for Wigan Today.
I don't think the alleged 'journalists' at Wigan Today would have the wit to write propaganda. Like most of them, it's a default setting to think airguns, any guns equal bad. It's all down to ignorance and laziness.
If you dislike their report, write to them and give them your side of the argument. I've had success in the past doing the same after one-sided bollocks about gun ownership on Wigan Today.
That mod from Yns Mon's been interfering with me.
This is a none story. Someone who does not want to be named is warning other people about something that may or may not have happened. Conjecture and hearsay all the way.

Could have been an out of control Wigan Kebab.....
