    axsor

Does anyone remember the original price of these? I refer to the ones sold by our sponsor some years ago. The gun is in .22 flavour, walnut stock, 10 shot magazine. It must be some 15 years old now, but is like new. I'm considering buying it off a mate of mine, but neither of us can remember how much it cost at the time.

Just guessing, but reading your description of the gun, it is probably worth about what it cost new 15 years ago(or not far off) result for the original owner

The present owner used to shoot with me a lot of years ago. I remember him getting this gun from new and he only shot it for a couple of weeks, then moved on to rimmies. He got married and moved away, but now he's divorced and moved back to the old house he lived in previously (next door but one to me). Being good mates, he doesn't want to charge me too much, and I don't want to short change him.

From your description, buy it. Being walnut and mint condition, depending what scope it comes with, I would say £300- 350. However, being a mate you might get it for less. Like I said earlier, it could of been around this figure new 15 years ago.

This was my first PCP, absolutely gorgeous rifle, but wide and long! Wish I still had it

Please forgive my ignorance but is this thread refering to a Logun Axsor or a Webley Axsor?

    Smile Axsor

    Hi

I had the Axsor gemini two shot about 15 year ago. £ 299. They were unbranded Axsor.
It was my first PCP and and I thought they were excellent guns for the price.

My mate bought one when they first came out 1996 - 1997 , we all had springers ( HW's)

I said , have I fired it ???? All I heard was pppffft and the impact on a rat,

Awesome pcp, and multi shots !!!!it was like a black art/ magic when he told us / shown us it was filled with air !!!

A few years later I then bought a career 707 pumped up to the max on an FAC,

Great bit of kit it made me turn to the dark side, but then along came the rim fires, lol no need for divers tanks,

Still got the career and my hw 77, + rim fires , 223, 243 and 308, lol and webley tempest and bsa meteor my dad got me

These guns were made in Sweden and were just called Axsor. When my mate bought his, he paid a visist to the Logun factory to see if he could buy one direct. He was told "NO". The lads there did say however that the Logun Axsor was exactly the same gun and they just added the Logun branding to it before selling it. Thet said to buy one from our sponsor as they were the same product, but cheaper. I don't know if the same can be said for Webley.

Thanks for that geezer. I had the impression they were around the £300 mark.

The Logun Axsor was some different to the generic Axsor.
The FX Axsor had a bolt on the side of the action.
The logun Axsors bolt was on the rear of the action.
A wide beaver tail fore stock.
A sporting angle to the pistol grip.
A Red Rubber London Butt Pad.
Came with a Logun Silencer, which pissed on anything else (at that time)
Had Logun bladdered all over the action in red.
If you were lucky they had Jim Hogans mark of authenticity - a pair of mole grip gouges on the air cylinder!

The Axsor was used by Webley, Simmons, Logun, RWS, to name but a few.

    A good gun.

A little late replying to this thread but i had a look at the Webley Axsor at a local dealer and they were selling for £550 new in 1998, thats just the rifle, 2 mags and a probe.

I bought mine the same year as a combo kit from uttings, i still have the reciept somwhere but I'm sure the price was around the same.

    Regards

Just as an update, I did buy the gun. I paid £200 for it. It had a leak on the filler valve which took about 10 minutes to cure with a new O ring. It was also running very close to the limit, also quickly cured and running 11.4fpe now. A very accurate gun and very light compared to a lot.
