    Smile Axsor

    Hi

I had the Axsor gemini two shot about 15 year ago. £ 299. They were unbranded Axsor.
It was my first PCP and and I thought they were excellent guns for the price.

My mate bought one when they first came out 1996 - 1997 , we all had springers ( HW's)

I said , have I fired it ???? All I heard was pppffft and the impact on a rat,

Awesome pcp, and multi shots !!!!it was like a black art/ magic when he told us / shown us it was filled with air !!!

A few years later I then bought a career 707 pumped up to the max on an FAC,

Great bit of kit it made me turn to the dark side, but then along came the rim fires, lol no need for divers tanks,

Still got the career and my hw 77, + rim fires , 223, 243 and 308, lol and webley tempest and bsa meteor my dad got me

Thanks for that geezer. I had the impression they were around the £300 mark.

The Logun Axsor was some different to the generic Axsor.
The FX Axsor had a bolt on the side of the action.
The logun Axsors bolt was on the rear of the action.
A wide beaver tail fore stock.
A sporting angle to the pistol grip.
A Red Rubber London Butt Pad.
Came with a Logun Silencer, which pissed on anything else (at that time)
Had Logun bladdered all over the action in red.
If you were lucky they had Jim Hogans mark of authenticity - a pair of mole grip gouges on the air cylinder!

The Axsor was used by Webley, Simmons, Logun, RWS, to name but a few.

    A good gun.

A little late replying to this thread but i had a look at the Webley Axsor at a local dealer and they were selling for £550 new in 1998, thats just the rifle, 2 mags and a probe.

I bought mine the same year as a combo kit from uttings, i still have the reciept somwhere but I'm sure the price was around the same.

    Regards

Just as an update, I did buy the gun. I paid £200 for it. It had a leak on the filler valve which took about 10 minutes to cure with a new O ring. It was also running very close to the limit, also quickly cured and running 11.4fpe now. A very accurate gun and very light compared to a lot.
